This blog will detail the Rantidi Forest Excavations in Cyprus lead by Dr. Georgia Bonny Bazemore of Eastern Washington University.
Another very long day of site hunting! The roads are very bad, and the terrain is not friendly to bare legs in any fashion. I have never seen so many varieties of plants with thorns in one place in my life! I am sure in the "Handbook of Archaeology" (if there is such a thing) that it says to wear pants, long sleeve shirts, always carry a trowel, bring lots of water, and SPF 60 will not always be enough. Each day teaches me something new, I love it.
